This hotel was excellent place for exploring Dublin, loved it. The bed is comfy, slept really good. The venue was near to the train station, you can walk 5 mins by foot.

It was a great location which is why I booked it I wont be staying there again mostly because they raised the rate because there was a Take That Concert! Other people were equally cross - especially a couple who had 3 different rates for the 3 nights they stayed! Have stayed in much better 4 star hotels. The only positive that i can say with regard my recent stay at teh Davenport Hotel is that it is a great location.
I found the Hotel to be very expensive considering the times we are in. My room was a bit dated and there was a bit of work which should be done to the room eg. the airvent was hanging down, there were water stains in the ceiling.

The style of the building and location Staff friendly and fairly attentive
Found the interior dated and the rooms expensive in relation to what the hotel had to offer not even free wi fi in the lobby. I paid virtually the same room rate at the Hilton Malta two week earlier no comparison

location, as most of what we wanted to do was close to hotel.
We stayed on Saturday,Oct.20th And unfortunately there was a lot of noise which seem to be coming from a birthday celebration been held in the Hotel itself and this made our stay less enjoyable as our room was over area where the party was been held. Saying this it would not stop us returning to stay at the Davenport again.
